This policy explains what information The Calm Couple (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit thecalmcouple.com or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run the store, deliver your order, and (if you opt in) send you our emails — and we don’t sell your personal information.

One thing worth saying first

What you and your partner write inside your workbooks — printed or digital — stays with you. The workbooks are not connected to our systems. We never see, collect, or store anything you write in them.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Order information: name, email, shipping and billing address, and phone number when you place an order. Payment details are processed by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal); we never see or store full card numbers.
• Email signup: your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Messages: anything you send us at hello@calmcouple.com, including guarantee claims and the photos you attach to them.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site, via cookies and similar technologies.
• Analytics and advertising data: we use tools such as Shopify analytics and advertising pixels (for example Meta, TikTok, and Google) to understand traffic and measure ads. These set cookies that may track you across sites.

How we use it

• To process and deliver your orders, send order and shipping updates, and provide support
• To honor the Hard Launch Guarantee and handle replacements
• To send marketing emails if you opted in (every email includes one-click unsubscribe)
• To improve the site and measure advertising
• To prevent fraud and comply with law

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only what they need to do their job:

• Shopify — hosts our store and processes orders
• Payment providers — process your payment
• Our print & fulfillment partner — receives your name and shipping address to print and deliver physical orders
• Email service provider — sends our emails
• Analytics and advertising platforms — as described above

We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalized ads through the settings of platforms like Meta and Google. Blocking some cookies may affect how the store works (your cart, for example).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any of these, email hello@calmcouple.com and we’ll respond within the time required by your local law. We will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Retention

We keep order records as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes; marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; and support emails as long as useful to help you.

Children

Our store and products are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be flagged on this page.
